Brewed For Thought

This month, the news has been going around about a collaboration of the pioneers of craft brewing. Instead of reviewing the same beer that everyone has in their glass, I thought it would be nice to give the spotlight to another pioneer, Don Barkley of Napa Smith. Don got his start at New Albion Brewing in 1978 with Jack McAuliffe, soon to be featured the the previously mention collaborative series. Now, with a couple years under his belt at his newest gig with Napa Smith, Don has brewed the first IPA on the new system and has gone completely organic with it.
