On the topic of beer and television, has anyone else been watching the newest season of Top Chef? This season takes place in New York. I don’t know NYC very well, but there was a shot taken where you could see the Manhattan skyline across a body of water. Could the contestants loft be in Brooklyn? Also, the contestants have been spotted drinking Brooklyn brews (Summer Ale?) while waiting to hear the judges decisions. Could we expect a guest judging from Garrett Oliver? Last season they covered beer quickly, but I would imagine if Garrett Oliver would get involved, there would need to be something more involved, and more interesting to craft beer fans. If anyone has inside information, or internet rumors, please share.
