Upcoming Event: BevMo Holiday Beerfest
The season is upon us. Whether you like it or not, Christmas comes earlier and earlier every year. If you’re a beer fan, this is nothing but good news. If you love winter seasonals, then make sure you don’t miss what may the biggest collection of seasonal beers in one place that I’ve ever seen, The BevMo Holiday Beerfest.
The BevMo Holiday Beerfest (November 15, 2009, Ft Mason, SF) is put on by Night That Never Ends Productions and Jeff Moses. Many beer fans would known the name from the Monterey Beer Festival and know that he can put together an excellent beer festival. While most beer festivals will be lucky to feature 40-50 breweries, The Holiday Beerfest is showing off more than 120 breweries and over 180 beers.
The event is set to kick off at 1pm with taps flowing until 4 pm. Tickets are $35 and available on-line only. With your ticket, look for food provided by the Culinary Center of Monterey and music from Patt Casion and her Band.
This event should be a great time. Anyone planning on attending? Let me know. I will be there for sure.

I wish that I could make it to this. It is so damn inconvenient to get in/out of Fort Mason if you don’t drive. However I will be across the bay for The Bistro’s Barrel Aged Beer Festival the day before. Should be fun.

My favorite kind of beer is one that has been served fresh, inside a nice traditional wooden hall while its snowing outside. Nothing is more relaxing and enjoyable as that for me!
